Luthier
"Oh, thank goodness, it's Doe! You've made it just in time!"
The Chordwork Giants in The Academy of Music have gone haywire!! These beloved, autonomous instruments are out-of-tune, high-strung, and attack anyone who enters.

As a Luthier, your job is to fix instruments with your magic!
When the music starts, you must count down for your opening to strike!
WASD to move.
SPACE to jump, on a beat!
LEFT CLICK to attack, on a beat!
RIGHT CLICK to dash, on a beat!
Climb the tower and meet these constructs in their deadly dance! Should you succeed, go up the stairs to the next level of The Academy!
Good luck!
Fullscreen and headphones recommended!
------- CHORDWORK CONSTRUCTS --------
Three automatons will face you on your adventure:
ANDANTE: Slow and steady, he approaches and hits with big strong attacks. He was the essence of structure and rhythm in the academy's music.
VIVACISSIMO: Careful and graceful, she lunges forward with quick peircing attacks. She supplied pitch and melody in the academy's songs.
PRESTO: Crazed construct that charges forward and attacks with whipping strings. He was the source of feeling, emotions, and significance in songs.
------- ADVANCED TIPS --------
If a song gives you multiple consecutive beats, try and discover some combos!
- Try attacking while in midair.
- Try jumping at the end of a combo.
- HOLD DOWN LEFT CLICK when a very large bar appears to charge up your bow until the start of the next bar.

It's very charming! I really like it!
The Art and Music have a certain vibe to it all that I really adored and were always wonderful to look at and listen to.
Gameplay is incredibly solid and I really like the rhythm game mechanic. It was really fun to play and I really enjoyed trying to time my attacks and dodged against the bosses' attacks (despite my abysmal sense of rhythm XD)
If there was anything that felt a bit off, the battle system animation/feel wise feels a bit lacking with me wondering if I actually hit the bosses or not.
But overall I had alot of fun with this game and I really enjoyed it!
Fun little game! Art reminds me of Pseudoregalia or A Short Hike, and the music (and the musical theme!) are solid. Gameplay is also good, though the AOE attack/interrups from Presto were a little annoying until I learned how to dodge most of them.
Not too easy, which is good; I do appreciate that dying does not mean starting from the beginning, though, as some of the bosses required a few tries :)
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for trying it out :)
